Charlotte Hunt BSc Hons Ost, BSc Hons, ITEC & APNT Principal Osteopath
Charlotte is the principal osteopath specialising in both structural and cranial osteopathy techniques. She is currently working in Coulsdon, Harley Street, and South Kensington. She obtained a first class honours degree in Osteopathy from the College of Osteopaths and also has a BSc (Hons) degree in Food Science and Nutrition (Home Economics) from the University of Wales College in Cardiff.
Charlotte has over 14 years of experience working in a number of multi-therapy and osteopathic clinics as a holistic and sports massage therapist and an osteopath that treats all ages and types of symptoms.
Prior to retraining as an osteopath, she worked in the corporate business world for 13 years. She turned to an osteopath after experiencing chronic back and neck symptoms resulting from the physical and mental strain from her work. Through the holistic approach to osteopathy treatments, this made her aware of lifestyle/work factors affecting her health. Going forward was given advice enabling her to manage her own health. She now enjoys pilates, cycling, singing in a choir, sailing, gardening, and cooking with her husband.
Charlotte is a member of the General Osteopathic Council. This organisation regulates the profession and both sets and promotes high standards of competency, conduct, and safety. The Institute of Osteopathy is the professional association for osteopaths which provides full professional indemnity insurance. She undertakes over 30 hours of professional development training courses annually to ensure she is up to date with the latest professional practices.
