Myles Goodman is a fully qualified and registered Osteopath. Graduating from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly British School of Osteopathy), he trained with a Masters degree in Osteopathy.
Before training as an Osteopath, Myles was a Level 3 Personal Trainer for over ten years in South London. During his career, he specialised in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Included in his training were qualifications in sports nutrition and weight management. Moreover, Myles worked alongside physiotherapists and weight management specialists.
Furthermore, Myles was responsible for delivering corrective exercises to help with the client rehabilitation and fitness goals. He also incorporated soft tissue and reformer-based exercise techniques. He also enjoys working with children by way of sports and exercise.
Myles Goodman has a treatment approach that combines structural techniques with his rehabilitation expertise.
Myles considers himself patient-centred and likes to combine his osteopathic techniques to suit each patient’s individual needs.
His passion is to help a patient through their journey from pain to relief. Also, Myles helps with pain management, whatever the age. This focus came from his degree research project. He investigated the challenges and management of patients with anxiety associated with chronic lower back pain.
Since registering with the General Osteopathic Council, Myles is due to undertake further training. He has an interest in developing his skills in cranial and Paediatric Osteopathy.
Outside of the treatment room, Myles leads an active life. He likes to exercise in the gym, and his hobbies include reading and cooking. His young family also keeps him pretty busy.
