Associate Osteopath Lauren Jardine was working with children with physical, learning and behavioural difficulties. Lauren first came to Osteopathy following a dance-related injury. Inspired by the treatment she had received, Lauren went on to study for a Masters degree in Osteopathy at Oxford Brookes University. She qualified in 2012. During her time here, she completed a research project on breathing disorders and lower back pain. She has treated many patients with complex conditions and medical histories.
Since registering with the General Osteopathic Council in 2012, Lauren has worked in practices in Kent, West Sussex, and Surrey, as well as running a mobile clinic. She has undertaken further training in First Aid and Clinical Emergencies, Clinical Pilates, Surgical Intervention and Hypermobility in the Performing Arts. She uses the knowledge gained in these courses throughout her clinical practice.
Lauren treats patients from a range of backgrounds with a range of aches, pains and conditions. These include office workers to manual workers, elite sports people to performing artists. Also, pregnant women, very young children to teenagers and the elderly!
Lauren Jardine specialises in complex conditions and medical histories
She often integrates her Clinical Pilates and balance training with osteopathic treatment. This ensures that you not only recover from injury but help to prevent getting injured in the future. Moving forward, Lauren will be undertaking further training in nutrition and Cranial Osteopathy to complement her existing practice.
Outside of Osteopathy, Lauren leads a healthy lifestyle, attending the gym and exercise classes (including Pilates!). She also loves to cook and socialise with friends and family.
